about us

Meticon Bikes was founded in 2007. We are all about regular bikes for regular folks. We're not Tour de France racers or hardcore downhill riders. Although these activities are amaing and fun to do, we're just normal riders. Most of us just ride around town to our jobs, to see our friends, and to enjoy the beauty that is Portland, Oregon. We enjoy the ride. We want it to be simple, we want it to be affordable, and we want you to feel comfortable.

Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, Seth has been in portland for over 3 years. As a long-time bicycle enthusiast and mechanic, he instantly saw the need for a bicycle shop in the Foster Powell Neighborhood. His experience ranges from bicycle mechanic to motorcycle mechanic to vintage VW mechanic.
